About
Before real estate I worked at the highest levels of design—leading global teams, managing nine-figure budgets, and building brands and products that reached millions. I’ve collaborated with hundreds of clients across industries, always driven by one belief: good design matters.
Good design creates beauty with purpose, makes systems intuitive, and improves lives. Architecture is the most powerful embodiment of that idea. It’s design you can live in—a framework that shapes how we move, feel, think, and connect. A well-designed home doesn’t just shelter you. It changes the way you live.
My real estate practice is rooted in deep respect for design, history, and cultural value. I specialize in Bay Area Modernist architecture from the 1950s through the 1970s—homes by architects and builders who believed that design should be both elegant and egalitarian. I’ve lived in and restored these homes with my own two hands. Currently, I’m working on an A. Quincy Jones CC-1854R (Eichler Homes, 1965), a Claude Oakland CC-294 (Eichler Homes, 1965), and a Charles Abramson Third Bay house (1974).
Through my business, I get to help clients buy and sell architectural properties with care—pairing discerning buyers with significant homes, and ensuring that sellers see their properties valued not just as real estate, but as cultural artifacts worth preserving. This is real estate as stewardship. Welcome to Mid Century Machine.
